Breaking Your Lease

Dear Resident,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your upcoming move. Your lease agreement allows you to vacate the property before the expiration of the lease term, provided you meet specific criteria. Refer to Lease Paragraph 26 for detailed information. This paragraph is also printed on page two of this document. To break your lease, you must:

  1. Continue to pay rent by the 1st of each month until the home is re-rented or the lease term expires.

  2. Reimburse the landlord for all expenses incurred in re-leasing the property. Expenses include, but are not limited to, advertising, utilities for showing, locator-service fees, repayment of concession or discounts, leasing fees paid to agent, charges for cleaning, repairing, repainting, or unreturned keys, are just a few examples. Refer to lease paragraph 26 for detailed information.

If you wish to exercise this option, the procedures are as follows:

  1. Complete and submit this notice to vacate form. Click here to download

  1. Remove all your personal property and have the property fully cleaned. We will provide you with a move-out letter detailing this process.

  1. Return all keys/remotes/fobs for your property.

Once you have submitted these items to our office, we will confirm the property is in rent-ready condition and begin advertising it for rent. Please note that we cannot begin advertising the home until you have fully vacated, and the home is in full rent-ready condition per our standards.
